I got the job and quickly became the best-selling associate there. Years later in the aftermath of mentoring by the aforementioned Rich, I became an assistant manager and scaled the progress ladder. I've sold and created more drummers that I can remember. By 2005, I became the General Manager of the store and led the electronic drum revolution. I made the place a “Drummer’s Paradise” and a place of legend. Now at the brand new 34th street Super Store, my challenge is still the same which is to provide the same outstanding service I'm famous for. He started as a Guitar Sales Associate at our Paramus, NJ, location and then moved to our Flagship Manhattan Mega-Store. After a year at our Manhattan location, Michael was promoted to become our Acoustic Guitar Department Manager, and has since quickly worked his way up to the position of Sales Manager. Michael is currently a passionate and active performing musician in the NYC/Tri-State area, as well as a private guitar teacher. Started playing drums at 13 years of age by the age of 17, Vibes became his instrument of choice and all thru his music school years Bobby added Piano to his list of instruments, this came natural and invaluable to his arranging and composing skills.
